Old, I really like the situation with Sirius, when he try to hit him :] because Sirius know how to make James get back to real world -that's why I think he would be a good captain.

The rest of the story about character invented by me and Jim - some light relationship, maybe will be part of JPAM

In my opinion he wasn't really serious during match (at least those meaningless), so he had a time to watch Evans or make some trick with second seeker, to win simpler... especially with flirting ;P
But that Samantha, wasn't really angry with him ;) James has to be good in playing quidditch and catching the snitch, and I think he just playing with her to make her trying harder and harder, If he will be serious he won't give her even a chance (I know it, cause I created her, and know that she was younger than him besides James became a seeker faster than she and was more experienced - the thing he doesn't take this seriously, and she does.).
